Free Spring Sight Word Game

· · · · ·

A few years ago, I came across some adorable Easter erasers in the Target Dollar Spot.  The pack came with 50 assorted erasers.  This year, I came across individually packed Easter erasers in the Target Dollar Spot!  They had several different packs, but I decided upon buying bunnies and chicks.  I picked up several bags!

These erasers can be used for a multitude of activities in the classroom, but I decided to use them as game markers and created a Spring-themed Four-in-a-Row Sight Word game.

The game is basically like Connect Four.  Two students take turns reading sights words.  They get to cover up the word if they read it correctly.  Whoever gets four words in a row first, wins!  Simple but fun!

The packet I created is for First Grade students or those students who are on a First Grade reading level.  The game boards use both the Fry and Dolch word lists.  These lists use many of the same words.

You can download this packet for FREE by completing the form below!  Enjoy, and Happy Spring!
